  Jim has always had a passion for music. Being born into a musical family, he would play any instrument he could get his hands on and began formal piano lessons at the age of six. Twenty-Two years later Jim has dedicated his life to performing, writing and recording as a session musician across the UK and internationally.

  Growing up in Northamptonshire, Jim spent his teenage years regularly performing with his, and his fathers, bands across the UK. 

​

  In 2010 he moved to Brighton to study at Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), where he developed his skills and met a plethora of like-minded musicians, some of which he still works alongside today. Upon graduating in 2013 Jim remained in Brighton and began his career as a Musician, Composer, Producer and DJ.

​

  As well as being involved in his own projects; Written in Waters, Bathcat and hosting Brighton jam night 'Live & Improvised', Jim has worked with a vast selection of artists and bands including Jimmy Balito, Lasperanza, Josh McGovern, Dani Wilde, Chloe Paige, Howard Kaye and Decosta Boyce, and has made TV and Radio appearances across the UK, USA and Europe.

  Although Piano/Keyboard is his primary discipline, Jim also plays Accordion, Guitar, Sings and DJ's. His ability to perform a wide variety of styles and genres, and his eagerness to continue to grow, has meant that Jim has been involved in studio sessions, gigs and tours around the world, as well as performing at weddings and events internationally with Go2 Entertainment and The London Function Band.
